Twin your gift
This summer, we are partnering with TB Vets Charitable Foundation to raise money for Langley’s health care needs.
Every gift will be matched by TB Vets, up to $40,000, to support the purchase of a Panda Warmer for Langley Memorial Hospital’s maternity unit.
When every dollar is matched, your gift doubles in impact, giving Langley’s smallest, most vulnerable patients the best start in life.
“When we found out our twin sons were going to be delivered two months early, we were terrified. Would they be strong enough to survive? Being so premature, their lungs were underdeveloped, and it broke our hearts to know they would struggle for that first breath.
We were so lucky - two Panda Warmers were on standby, right in the OR, ready to support our fragile new babies the second they were born.
They both received lifesaving oxygen support, and the incredible staff were able to monitor their breathing right away. No family should ever have to go without the very best equipment. Every baby delivered at Langley Memorial Hospital should have that same chance at a strong start to life.”

What is a Panda Warmer?
When newborns need extra support, a Panda Warmer offers radiant heat and temperature control, allows caregivers to clear infants’ airways, monitor their oxygen and heart rate and provide them life-giving breath.
Many of the Panda Warmers at Langley Memorial Hospital are old, out of date, and at risk of breaking down. Having enough Panda Warmers on standby, ready to deliver life-saving respiratory support and oxygen, gives our expecting moms the confidence that we can handle any situation that comes our way.
Today, you can support the purchase of urgently needed equipment, such as a Panda Warmer, to benefit all patients at Langley Memorial Hospital.
When every dollar is matched, your gift doubles in impact, giving Langley’s smallest, most vulnerable patients the best start in life.
“When a newborn struggles to breathe, our maternity specialists have seconds to clear their airways and get oxygen flowing. With the Panda Warmer, we can provide life-saving treatment in those critical moments. Thanks to generous donors and TB Vets, Langley’s newest arrivals will get the care they deserve, from the moment they’re born.”

Thank you!
In 2024, our community gave generously to help keep newborn babies safe and healthy, close to home.
With your support, and with TB Vets’ matching gift, we purchased a new neonatal ventilator for Langley Memorial Hospital’s maternity unit.
The urgent need
The first breath of a newborn infant is music to the ears of every new parent. In the best case scenario, breaths come quickly after birth.
But when a newborn doesn’t have the capacity to breathe, the maternity and respiratory specialists at Langley Memorial Hospital are called to action.
Within seconds after birth, maternity and respiratory caregivers must rely on the technological power of a neonatal ventilator to provide life-giving oxygen.
Thank you to you, our community, for supporting this urgent need!
